get Help
Before you ask
Answers to the things clients ask most before a commission.
Nothing, on your side. Every booking includes margin nights, and if a whole window is lost we reschedule you into the next one at no charge. The Atacama makes this rare, but the sky owes nobody anything.
You do. Commissions are delivered with a full commercial licence for the client. We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio and to submit it to observing networks where the data has scientific value, unless you ask us not to.
Planetary and lunar work: two to four weeks around the right dates. Deep-sky commissions: six to ten weeks from the first clear night, since faint targets need 50 to 400 hours of integration. You get a preview after every clear night, so the wait is never silent.
From 40 cm to 150 cm on the long edge, on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta. Every print is editioned to 25, signed, and ships worldwide with a certificate of authenticity.
Yes. Either join one of our guided workshops, or add an observatory visit to your commission when we schedule your window. Fair warning: the nights are cold and nobody wants to leave.
